Corporate or Private event made to your taste

At the Hungry Brush, we offer unique painting sessions that guarantee lasting memories. Guided step-by-step by your artist, you will create your own painting in a relaxed environment of your choosing amongst your own group of peeps.

At the end of the session, you get to take your artwork home with you and hang it up on your wall or gift it to someone you love, making it all the more special!

What to expect from a Hungry Brush Private Night

Whether it’s a birthday party, a hen or stag do, or a company team building session, The Hungry Brush offers an upbeat and stress-free environment where you can switch off and get your creative juices flowing. You do not need any prior artistic knowledge – just your positive vibes and the willingness to get your hands dirty!

Your artist will guide you through each step of the painting process from start to finish. You will get some expert tips, guidance and encouragement to help guests of all skill levels to have a finished product which they are happy with and proud of.

Choosing your motif

You are free to choose whichever motif you like from our [motif library] upon creating the initial booking. All participants will be following the same motif, however they are more than welcome to get creative and put their own twist on the original reference!

We offer flexibility on opting for another motif should you change your mind in the time leading up to the event. All you need to do is get in touch ahead of time in order to make sure that the change is registered and locked in for you!

You bring the fun, we bring the materials

Your artist will arrive ahead of time to set up the paint stations for the participants. Some materials may vary depending on your chosen motif, but you can expect high-quality 30 x 40 cm stretched canvas set up on a table easel, along with acrylic colours, brushes, apron, table covers, and other tools.

Private Events FAQs

  • At the moment, we operate in the city of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. However, for bookings over 20 people, the artist can travel to surrounding areas like Woburn, Leighton Buzzard, Northampton, Watford, as well as London. Please note that this would incur additional transportation fees. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!

  • Choosing which venue you would like to run the private event at is totally up to you!

Your artist will adapt to the environment. Celebratory events for small groups can be hosted at home, in your local cafe around the corner, or your favourite restaurant.

For professional private events like company or team building events, your venue can be your own office space, a restaurant, rented hall, or hotel conference room.

Reserving the event space and communications with your venue of choice is up to you. We will take care of setting up, running the event, cleaning up, and packing the materials afterwards!

Here are some tips for finding the perfect location for your private event:

    • The location must be reserved for at least 4 hours. This includes an hour for the artist to set up the stations before the event, two hours for the event itself, and another hour for dismantling and packing up.

    • You can choose a separate quiet area or private space, though if you’re happy to be in a main communal area with other people around, please make sure there is a place for the artist to set up their own painting station and there’s enough foot traffic space.

    • Each participant should have their own seat and sufficient table surface for their station (no less than 60cm per guest)

    • Tables are best set up in rows where guests can sit on both sides and have a clear view of the artist station

    • Consider lighting conditions in the venue

    • If your venue plays music in the background, your artist will have a microphone with them. However make sure that the music is not too loud as this may affect guests hearing the instructions clearly.

    • Having access to a water source for painting. A sink would be perfect, however if frequent access to a sink is not possible, your artist can bring large buckets which can be filled and placed near the tables for paint water changes throughout the event.

  • The event itself is about 2 hours. However, please take into account adding an extra 10-15 minutes before the event to get settled in, and another 10-15 minutes after for wrapping up, pictures, etc.
